Dane Gebauer is a writer and teacher from Connecticut. He studied English at Fordham University before receiving an MFA in fiction from Columbia. His writing has appeared in American Scholar, The Pinch, Sinking City Review, Complex Magazine, and the education blog College Transitions. Dane makes a living as a writer, teacher, and essay coach. He lives in Miami with his wife and their cat, Scout.
